REAL SALT LAKE

Derek and I went to the opening night of Real Salt Lake in the new stadium, and YES... we got to meet Leo the Lion! Derek was totally pumped! It was a lot of fun, but REALLY, REALLY, COLD! Of course, I wore flip-flops and was dying by the end of the night.

WISER LAKE POWELL TRIP

In August we went on our annual family vacation to Lake Powell! It was Derek's first time on the beautiful Desert Daze house boat he loved every minute of it. Good times for sure... swimming, floating with maui babe, eating, surfing, reading, napping, and lots more eating!

Jean trying... the sad thing is, I have been skiing a lot longer and Derek just puts me to shame. Even when he hasn't done it in years.

The entire vacation all Derek wanted was to go fishing. We finally bought him a fishing pole at the marina. He caught a fish right away. The funny part was watching him once he caught it. He didn't know what to do. It was a good thing Matt was there to help. It was a beautiful Lake Powell Carp.

My favorite part of Lake Powell is taking in the rays with Maui Babe! The best tanning lotion ever, even if it makes you smell like steak sauce. This year was extremely fun as we got a new floating Island, the mega station!! It is definately a great addition to the houseboat!

Derek was really excited for Erin to come with us. His two favorite ladies and the Wiser clan on a houseboat in Lake Powell, could it get any better?! I don't think so!

DEREK & JEAN'S BIG DAY!

We were married on April 26, 2008 in the Salt Lake Temple. Derek started the day with a big family breakfast in honor of him and I started with hair and makeup. It was a great day! We are so lucky to have such amazing family and friends who really made this day special.
